ABOUT
Founded in 1994, J&B Builders originally began as a residential custom home builder. In 2000, we expanded our expertise into commercial construction, developing and constructing commercial office and retail developments.
In 2010, with our expanded knowledge of commercial construction, we began focusing on federal government contracting.
As a woman owned small business, we currently hold several federal multi-year contracts and have completed numerous projects throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Missouri for a variety of government agencies.
Sharon Buoy
CEO
As the CEO of J&B Builders, Sharon assumes full management responsibilities. She currently oversees business development and forecasting and is also responsible for employee benefits, company liability insurance, accounts receivable/payable, subcontractor documentation and employee and subcontractor payrolls. In 2014, she obtained 100% ownership of the company upon retirement of the other founding partner. Sharon received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
Julie Salyers, P.E.
President
Serving as the President of J&B Builders, Julie oversees the construction operation of the company including estimation and management of all company projects. Julie obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is a licensed Professional Engineer with experience in design, consulting and construction management totaling over 20 years.
